On the 23rd of October 2023, at Beit Al-Hekma (The Tunisian Academy of Sciences, Letters, and Arts) in Tunisia, the WeMed Award 2023 Ceremony will take place.
The event is funded by the ENI CBC Med, as well as the SwitchMed Initiative. Indeed, the 2023 Edition of the WeMed Award is part of the RESET project: ‘RESults Enabling Transitions: mapping, synthesising and mainstreaming sustainable, green and circular business support achievements in the MED region, for replication and policy-making’, funded project under the ENI CBC Med Programme.
The aim of this Award is to highlight the importance of capitalizing on EU projects and to showcase innovative and effective approaches to capitalization in the field of Green Business Support to the wider ecosystem. The Award spotlights the contribution of Business support organizations and eco-innovative start-ups towards sustainable development in the Mediterranean region.
This edition, WeMed Award is targeting Business Support Organizations (BSOs) and Entrepreneurs/Start-ups that are or have been direct beneficiaries of at least one of the 19 EU-Projects* analysed under RESET in the field of Green Business Creation & Circular Economy. Applicants should have benefited from one of the Outputs (Best Practices, Knowledge, Tool) in one of the Mediterranean eligible regions within the ENI CBC MED Program and have women and/or youth in their team.
